Office Manager – Full-time Position

Drive Rite Academy is currently on the hunt for delightful staff to be on the front lines of helping our driving students achieve their life goals, and drive change in their own lives.

The Customer Service Manager will essentially ensure the smooth running of an office on a day-to-day basis and support a team of administrative staff and driving instructors.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Following daily office operations and procedures
  • Receives and responds to incoming inquiries related to the driving school.
  • Schedules all driving lessons utilizing the online scheduling system, arranges schedules within the assigned locations for students and instructors.
  • Receives and resolves inquiries from students and parents regarding scheduling issues; Schedules student road tests with Department of Motor Vehicles, assigning instructors and vehicles.
  • Ensures payment for lessons and road tests are received in a timely manner and processed through appropriate channels. Records all billing and payment receipts
  • Entering data, scheduling appointments, processing payments
  • Ability to explain our services and advise/assist clients with purchasing
  • Providing Excellent Customer Service
  • Meet/exceed monthly sales goals
  • Work directly with driving instructors to ensure effective scheduling
  • Maintain DMV Records and company files in an organized manner
  • Making sure all vehicles are up to date with maintenance and routine inspections
  • Other duties and responsibilities in the office, as needed

Qualifications:

  • Have a high school diploma or GED;
  • Have a driver's license. (clean driving record)
  • Having high attention to details.
  • Having interpersonal communication abilities.
  • Being able to stay calm under emergency situations.
  • Having good communication skills (verbal, written, and electronic.)
  • Knowledge of DMV Requirements
  • Being Self Motivated.
  • Ability to adapt to rapidly changing circumstances.
  • Computer Skills (typing, scheduling, etc.)

Working at least one weekend day during the week is required for this position.

Field Operations Manager – Full-time Position

The role:

We are seeking a Field Operations Manager to be a leader in our company and to professionalize our supervision, fleet maintenance, recruitment and training initiatives. Successful candidates will be talented team managers, as the role centers around establishing and improving execution, evaluation, and communication best practices.

The Field Operations Manager is responsible for executing and improving the company's supervision, fleet maintenance, recruitment, and training initiatives. This may include hiring and training the field team, evaluating and analyzing their performance, and planning and managing logistics. The Field Operations Manager will help keep the company running smoothly by taking on some managerial tasks, such as hiring, training, overseeing employees to ensure the smooth running of operations.

Ultimately, the Field Operations Manager will be in training to advance to the Regional Manager position. The goal is to be the backbone of the field team, ensuring the team has the skills, resources, and support to successfully execute its strategy.

The Field Operations Manager will facilitate the hiring of new employees by choosing a few applicants with the most potential and then work with the manager through the selection process. Assistant Managers can also settle issues between two or more employees or between employees and management and oversee training programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsibilities, include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Hire, onboard, and train field team
  • Selecting personnel for specific positions and providing training and professional development
  • Assess and evaluate team and individual performance
  • Maintenance and upkeep of fleet
  • Coordinate with sales and marketing team to develop field strategies and initiatives
  • Fill knowledge gaps through training and professional development programs
  • Measure, analyze, and communicate progress toward strategic goals.
  • Understanding scheduling and staff level needs

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Business Administration, Human Resources, Marketing, Organizational Development or similar
  • Minimum 3 years combined relevant work experience
  • Ability to manage group dynamics and translate complex information into understandable and applied knowledge
  • Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Can “roll up sleeves” and design/contribute
  • Proficient in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
  • Excellent presentation, facilitation, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to provide constructive feedback
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Must have valid driver's license
