About East Midwood Driving Lessons
Driving in East Midwood is far less stressful than other neighborhoods, hence the reason we parked our headquarter location very nearby. Lower traffic provides a nice atmosphere for beginner drivers. We are able to utilize some of the suburban areas for parking practice, as well as standard road skills. Our students are able to move from easier traffic patterns to more complex roadways without having to drive far! When students are not busy with their driving lessons at Drive Rite Academy in Midwood, there are plenty of other things to do in the neighborhood. There may not be a ton of green space in Midwood, but it's easy to get some exercise along Ocean Parkway, a five-mile strip with separate lanes for walkers, joggers, and bikers. Ocean Parkway connects Prospect Park to Coney Island and is replete with benches and chess tables that are hot spots on days when the weather is comfortable. In addition, Kolbert Park, on Avenue L and East 17th Street, stretches for 1 1.2 acres and offers water play, sports equipment, and plenty of grass on which to spread out. Kolbert is a central hangout in Midwood for kids seeking swings and slides, but also plays home to more serious practitioners. Handball and chess are played side-by-side at equally competitive levels.
