About Bay Ridge Driving Lessons
Driving in Bay Ridge can be stressful at times. Some areas, such as 86th Street can get hectic with lots of driving traffic. 86th Street is the neighborhood’s main retail strip, with plenty or major retail stores, including Century 21, Gap, and Banana Republic, among others. However, there are other more residential blocks that make driving lessons in Bay Ridge a desirable location to drive. There is even a botanical garden on Shore Road, with a butterfly garden and plant sanctuary.
In addition to the botanical garden, there are several parks in Bay Ridge. The most popular park is Owl's Head Park. Owl's Head Park has basketball courts, a playground, a dog run, and a skate park .With our patient and friendly driving instructors, students will be equipped with all of the knowledge to navigate the streets of Bay Ridge. Our students are able to move from easier traffic patterns to more complex roadways without having to drive far!
Bay Ridge is shaped a bit like a chili pepper. It is limited by Sunset Park toward the north, Dyker Heights is toward the east, the Belt Parkway and the Narrows toward the west, and the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge toward the south.
Getting to our driving school locations from Bay Ridge is convenient. The R train is the main train in Bay Ridge. A trip to Midtown takes about 60 minutes. There are likewise two express buses, the X27 and X37, that will get you to Manhattan in 30 to 45 minutes.
